On October 21, 2020, Ted Balestreri and Secretary Leon Panetta co-hosted a fundraising dinner event at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. This dinner, in lieu of the annual Wine Cellar Dinner event, was located in an outdoor and socially-distanced venue for guest safety and comfort. It was a beautiful evening, which included a six-course meal with wine pairings and a pre-screening of our Foundation’s forthcoming promotional video.
The Monterey Plaza Dinner was a fundraising event for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation. All funds raised at the dinner support the conservation and programs of Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

A Breathtaking Evening
The Plaza Hotel Dinner brought a small group of our Monterey Bay community together along the Bay’s southern coastline. We are particularly grateful to the Monterey Plaza Hotel for holding the event and to Ted Balestreri and Secretary Leon Panetta for hosting.
