We’re thrilled to announce that our award-winning documentary, The Fight for Monterey Bay, has been selected as a “Judges Selection” film at the prestigious Carmel International Film Festival (CIFF) this October. The film will be screened during the festival, followed by a panel discussion and an exclusive VIP reception.

This honor marks another important milestone in the film’s journey—after earning an award for Documentary at the MY HERO International Film Festival, premiering at Capitol Hill Ocean Week in Washington D.C., and inspiring the house during our recent local screening and panel at the Sanctuary Exploration Center in Santa Cruz.

Produced by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, The Fight for Monterey Bay tells the story of the fierce community-led battle to protect our beloved sanctuary from offshore oil drilling and highlights the ongoing fight to preserve its biodiversity for future generations.
