Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation’s third installment of the Sanctuary Sup Series will be held on Wednesday, November 18th from noon-1:00pm.  This free event is an opportunity to virtually “sup” (share a meal) together while also learning about what is ‘sup in the Sanctuary.

Featured Topic: Sanctuary Science and Successes

Paul Michel is the outgoing superintendent of Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. With over 20 years experience in environmental protection at the local, state, federal, and international levels, he is a nationally-recognized leader in wetlands, coast, and ocean management and protection. He is also an ex-officio member of the Foundation Board of Directors.

Chad King is a research specialist with Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and has been with the Sanctuary since 2002. He is responsible for spatial data collection and analysis, and also contributes to the Sanctuary’s subtidal kelp forest research and underwater photography and videography.
