Santa Cruz Warriors Beach Clean Up

The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation partnered with the Santa Cruz Warriors Basketball organization to create “Sanctuary Warriors.” On March 19, 2024, the Foundation welcomed the Santa Cruz Warriors HQ staff to an afternoon of ocean exploration at the Sanctuary Exploration Center in Santa Cruz. Foundation Co-Chairperson Hilary Bryant and Chapter Director Ginaia Kelly highlighted the sanctuary’s unique qualities and its importance. In addition, Coach Nick Kerr explained the importance of using his voice and team to make the community a better place!
